Mitch Marner opened the scoring and then Detroit scored 4 goals to take a 4-1 lead into the second... where, Nick Robertson, Auston Matthews, with his 69th, and John Tavares scored to tie the game at 4-4... after a scoreless third period, unfortunately, Detroit scored 41 seconds into overtime and won the game 5-4.
